  The staff at island 4x4 hire managed to do a quick turnaround for us so we could enjoy a day on Fraser during the busy new years period. Great option if you're staying in Rainbow Beach.
  
  Would recommend them to friends visiting, the staff gave a good explanation of the vehicle, tips and tricks and gave us the knowledge to enjoy our day on Fraser. Although the cars are ageing cosmetically they performed solidly and we never felt it wasn't up to the challenge in the sand throughout the island. The paint job makes for some pretty fun group photos also.

  Car overheated 2 hours after picking up. didn't over speed, didn't put it in water or nothing. They reckon we should pay for a new radiator replacement and bill is $1700. Be careful. cars are 25-30 years old can happen anything mechanically. unfortunately they expect customers to pay for that too. DONT Trust em

  We rent the car for 4 days on Fraser Island. It was a really good car and powerful. We drove inland and on the beach it was perfect. The team is amazing, really friendly and helpful. I recommend it for sure !

  STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!
  I booked with this company because it's the cheapest on the market and now I understand why. When you give the car back they try to find every little thing to deduct money from the bond. They took me $200 because of some sand on the hood of the car and FEW little drops of seaside water inside the hood with the excuse that they needed to clean everything and I mean, what do you pretend when you drive in a island?! There were literally just tiny little drops that i mean, i can clean it myself in few minutes and obviously charging $200 they are thieves! I didn't try to argue cause I was in holidays with my family and didn't want any problems. Let them get this money but they won't see me never ever again! Moreover their cars are really dated and old!! Few years backwards I used another company bit more expensive but never had problems with, the car in really good conditions and when I gave it back I received all my bond back, and the car was even more dirty than this time. Also the cars are really dated and don't work good, I had problems driving in fraser with their car, and when you give it back they try to charge you saying that you damaged their car ahah that's ridiculous! So guys watch out and don't trust this company!! PS your answer to my comment it's meaningless you got already plenty of bad reviews you are not trustful whatever you try to say to cover your a$$
